The Rocket Cars at the Pueblo Railway Museum

The Garrett LIMRV (Linear Induction Motor Research Vehicle)

After traveling to Pueblo, CO from New Castle, PA, the Garrett arrived in Pueblo on the evening of October 24, 2012. After several years on-loan by the City of Pueblo, the Garrett finally returned home to Pueblo; the city where the Garrett last ran on track under its own power. On the morning of October 25, the Garrett was off-loaded with the help of 2 lifting cranes. Of course, that morning was the coldest day of the year so far, with a coating of snow. But, this did not hamper the excitement of the Pueblo Railway Museum members as the Garrett become a part of their collection.
